Statement
Content shall support narrow, default, wide, and full alignment modes. Components shall respect these alignment rules.
Rationale
Alignment modes are the mechanism by which content authors break out of or conform to the standard container. Without a defined set, alignment becomes an ad-hoc problem solved differently in every block.
